Research in the Schroeder lab focuses on the study and engineering of polymer-based materials and macromolecule-mediated transport processes.

In particular, we are interested in:

  • Using polymers to control crystal growth processes
  • Developing sustainable alternatives to traditional plastics
  • Generating electrical signals and power in gels and textiles
